You Are Not Stuck: How Real Transformation Begins

Real transformation begins with a decision. A decision that you are no longer willing to except the life you have been living. I struggled for years with addiction and always feeling out of place. I felt completely disconnected from who I was, what my life was supposed to become and where I was going.

At some point, I realized that if my life was going to change, I had to change first. I made the decision to stop waiting for different circumstances and start making new decisions. That was the beginning of rebuilding my image of myself, my identity, my relationship with God and my overall health. "The biggest lesson I learned is that transformation does not does not begin when circumstances change. I had to accept that I played a role in creating the life I was living. And once I understood that, I also understood that I was capable of creating something different.
